The narrow path
Only the narrow path leads to the kingdom of heaven!

Jesus Christ – The only way

“I grew up in a Christian home. We went to church every Sunday.”

That’s all well and good. But frequent church visits don’t make you a Christian any more than frequent visits to the zoo make you a chimpanzee.

“I try to do good and to help others.”

Fine. But that doesn’t make a Christian either. There are many people who do not believe in God and yet are kind and ready to help anyone who is in need.

Anyone who goes on a long journey needs a map. Anyone looking for a telephone number needs a telephone book. It would be far from wanting to find the necessary information for this in the daily newspaper. If someone wants to find out something about God and his relationship with him, the obvious thing to do is to look up the book that claims to be God’s word: the Bible.

Is it worth considering the Bible as a guide to our lives? If yes why?
